A medium-sized tree, with a pyramidal shape and spectacular fall colors. Its wood is softer than Sugar Maple and the bark is a smooth silver in its youth. This medium-to fast-growing tree can grow almost anywhere but is native to more moist areas. Red Maple is a good source of wildlife food and habitat.
