Liberty Apples are a good "backyard" variety. They produce fruit with red skin and juicy flesh with a sprightly flavor. The taste is well-balanced while still retaining a sharp tang. A productive variety that was selected for its resistance to apple scab and cedar-apple rust. Keeps well into February. Does not require fungicide sprays. Does very well without spraying.
 
These are hefty, bare root trees. They are generally 5' to 7' tall with a stem diameter of greater than 1/2".
