McIntosh Apples are an old American apple variety. These apples are sweet and tangy, with juicy red-green fruit, and bright white flesh. McIntoshes are a reliable producer, a heavy bearer, and are easy to peel. These apples are wonderful to eat and for cooking. McIntoshes make excellent cider and apple pie/crisp. These trees bloom mid-season and ripen in late September.
These are hefty, bare root trees. They are generally 5' to 7' tall with a stem diameter of greater than 1/2".
