Golden Spice Pears is a very hardy pear and great choice for people who live in urban/suburban areas because they are  tolerant of pollution. Golden Spices are also great pollinators for other pear cultivars! (Please note that Golden Spice pears require a different pear cultivar to produce fruit.) Its fruit is small and yellow with a sweet flavor and crisp texture. Good for canning and spicing, fair for eating. Use 'Ure' as pollinator. Golden Spices are fast-growing but need regular pruning to stay healthy.  
 
These are hefty, bare root trees. They are generally 5' to 7' tall with a stem diameter of greater than 1/2".
