Frostbites are very cold-hardy apple trees. It produces from late September to mid-October. The fruit is small and extremely sweet. Crisp but firm texture and juicy. Extremely cold hardy, it is an excellent variety for cold, northern regions. Great for cider or cooking. Parent to 'Keepsake' and 'Sweet 16', grandparent to 'Honeycrisp'.

 

These are hefty, bare root trees. They are generally 5' to 7' tall with a stem diameter of greater than 1/2".
