Downtown Iron Mountain Trees

Let's remove the dead trees and replace them with living ones!

Iron Mountain residents, please read!

Downtown Iron Mountain has experienced the death of many street trees in recent years. Some of the benefits of living trees include greater aesthetic appeal, reduced potential for flooding, improved air quality, and reduced temperature in the summertime and better protection in the winter due to canopy cover (reducing AC and heat bills!)

If you would like to see our downtown be re-planted with living trees, please write a short letter indicating your support to:

City of Iron Mountain

501 S Stephenson Ave.

Iron Mountain, MI 49801

or email:

clerktreasurer@cityofironmountain.com

Please send your letters on or before October 12th, 2023 to be counted.
