Blue Spruce (also called Colorado Spruce) is a native of the southwestern U.S. and is a staple of Midwest landscapes. It's trade-mark bluish green, stiff needles and conical form make it stand out. Blue Spruces have a dense pyramidal shape that makes it good for wildlife habitat and windbreaks. This is a slow to medium growth tree.





  • Seedling Size: 12-18"
  • Mature Height: Grows 30-60'
  • Sunlight: Full Sun/Partial Shade
  • ​Moisture: Dry-Moist- needs well drained soil
