Red pine is a large native, long-lived evergreen tree for dry habitats. The handsome, tall straight trunk, beautiful red bark, and long needles are its identifying features. Red Pine is a moderate to fast growing tree. It is great for wildlife habitat and used for pulp, timber, windbreaks, and reforestation. This tree is also drought tolerant.
