Bur Oak is part of the Beech family and has the largest acorns of all of the oaks. Bur Oak provides food for many types of animals through the winter. Such as white tail deer, rabbits, black bear, and wild turkey. It also is used for timber sales. This tree is a slow growing tree, and is also Oak Wilt resistant
