Serviceberry is a native small multi-stem tree, typically found at the edge of a woodland. This bush has smooth gray bark and white flowers, that bloom in May. Serviceberry has edible fruit that will ripen in June. The leaves are a gorgeous red-orange color in the fall if it is planted in a sunny area. Serviceberry is used for wildlife and has been used in pies as well. It is a slow growing shrub.
