Summer Crisp Pear (Semi-dwarf)
One of the hardiest pears with clouds of showy white flowers in spring, good fall color and a consistent oval form; small firm greenish-red fruit, reasonable quality, good flavor; self-pollinating and resistant to fireblight. Fruit ripens in late summer (earlier than most pears). Summercrisp Pears taste best right off the tree. Pick while still in the green/red blush stage for a crisp pear. The pears that you don't eat immediately after harvest should be refrigerated as soon as you pick them so they keep their sweetness, crispness, and juiciness.
Mature height: 12-15'
